YIN-Yoga und Tantra-Yoga (Hatha Yoga):
My focus in YOGA:
FEEL & enjoy each Asana while we focus on DEEP BREATHING (deep diaphragmatic breathing),
cultivate your meditative state in your body
⚜ calm your mind
⚜ explore how breath connects body and mind
⚜ explore movement in silence
⚜ cultivate the meditative state of your body and give your body space for its selfhealing powers
⚜ just allow yourself to BE, relax, let go, surrender and feel balanced
⚜ allow yourself to become slow, soft and flexible
YIN-YOGA
Do you feel stressed and tense?
Then just try Yin Yoga to calm down and let go. In this gentle yoga practice, you stay in the poses a little longer and let your breath flow freely. This is how Yin Yoga unfolds its calming and balancing effect.
And at the same time, you can listen deeply to yourself, observe your thoughts, perceive your feelings and get to know yourself a little better.
YIN/YANG Balance:
⚜ YIN stands for the passive, the feminine and the gentle,
⚜ while YANG symbolizes the active, the masculine and the strong.
⚜ YIN-Yoga aims to restore the balance between these forces.
⚜ The roots of YIN-Yoga reach back into traditional Chinese medicine (TCM)
⚜ YIN works energetically with organs, meridians, natural elements and fascia/connective tissue.
This energy channels called *meridians* (traditional Chinese medicine/TCM - Indian call them Nadis)
⚜ YIN is female energy (means being passive/soft/gentle/slow/conscious/ profound, letting go, surrendering, allowing, BEING instead of doing, receiving/taking instead of giving, etc.)
⚜ We store suppressed emotions in the connective tissue
Result: tension/pain & life energy (Chi/Prana) no longer flows freely -> long-term illness
⚜ YIN = relaxed, deep & longer stretching of the connective tissue/fascia
= release of emotional blockages! Result: Chi/Prana flows again
TANTRA-YOGA:
Meditation-Yoga from traditional Tantra (indian philosophy).
We are working with the prana energy system and call them in india *Nadis*
= traditional Tantra-Yoga
= restorative-Yoga (YIN energy)
= slow & conscious Hatha-Yoga
= passive Yoga
⚜ TANTRA-YOGA taught me:
- enjoy each Asana & focus on feeling my body & connect to the breath
- putting my body in a meditative state
- to get to know myself better on a deeper level
- to strengthen intimacy with myself
- let go
- to recover from chronic stress & illness
- cultivate patience, love & gratitude
- complete surrender to the moment
⚜ without pushing
⚜ without comparisons
⚜ without judgment
⚜ no need to rush
⚜ without achieving an ideal pose
⚜ without external standards
Clarify prejudices/question marks about tantra & traditional Tantra-Yoga...
⚜ TANTRA means perceiving and enjoying life with all your senses!
Many people hear Tantra and immediately think of sex.
This is traditional tantra yoga slow hatha yoga, i.e. restorative yoga, also called meditation yoga.
It's about enjoying every yoga asana and feeling it deeply into your body.
The focus is on diaphragmatic breathing.
Traditional Tantra is a holistic system, a lifestyle that is 95% about brain retraining through meditation yoga, breath work, Ayurvedic hiking massage, relaxation of the nervous system, dissolution of old patterns and building a new mindset.
In short: It's about finding your authentic self (becoming yourself without conditioning) & cultivating a meditative state in your body while practicing slow & conscious yoga.
This lifestyle also includes a balanced, anti-inflammatory diet.
Only 5% of traditional tantra yoga involves bandas (pelvic floor muscle training), which is ultimately said to have a positive effect on sex because the nervous system is enabled to relax in the long term. Religious puja rituals are also part of Tantra...
About Tantra-Yoga:
It is the most beautiful art of yoga that I have been able to experience so far.
It played a big part in my healing, so I want it to share from Heart to Heart !!!
You will feel the difference if you have tried other yoga styles, I promise you.
Especially if you are looking for something that calms your nervous system & brings you into a state of peace & balance, you have come to the right place.
Breathwork & Pranayama
Yoga, breathwork, pranayama = somatic practice
(body-oriented approach to resolving traumatic stress)
= Impact Physical/Nervous System/Cells
= decongestion of the lymphatic system (result: chronic pain, energy can no longer flow)
Somatic Experiencing (SE) is a body-oriented approach to resolving traumatic stress.
It is used to overcome shock trauma and to treat early attachment and developmental trauma.
The goal of Somatic Experiencing: to (re)establish natural self-regulation in the nervous system + thereby discharging the energy bound in the body.
Breath is the bridge between mind, emotions and the physical form.
It brings us into a conscious state of presence and awareness.
Benefits of Breathwork and Pranayama:
⚜ cleaning the energy channels / inner purification
⚜ synchronize the two hemispheres of the brain
⚜ synchronize the feminin (left) and the masculin (right) energy
⚜ the airflow creates warmth/heat on the physical & subtle level
⚜ stokes the inner fire of body & mind
⚜ Internal cleansing/detoxification (getting rid of toxins)
⚜ Deep breath: time to achieve a high oxygen supply in all cells (unconscious cultivation)
⚜ Long-term & short-term cultivation -> Parasymphatic nervous system (vagal nerve)
⚜ Brain retraining/retraining of the brain against stress and anxiety
⚜ Balance the imbalance in the body
⚜ Increasing prana life energy
